A year (& 4 days) ago, I started on my #yoga path. Started out watching @kino YouTube videos at home. I was a bit intimidated to go to a class. Then @brandycarolyn convinced me to take one of her classes. And I checked out out the Vinyasa at the Krishna temple. I did everyday for 3 months, stopped drinking (for the 3 months), and began working out daily... running, lifting, climbing 4-5 days a week. I lost 20 lbs and felt better about myself and my direction. I went on a trip to New Zealand on the 3 month anniversary and for the first time left the North American continent. When I came back I was lost. Didn’t know which way to go, or where. I started going to @purnamevavasisyate classes at the front. And SJ convinced me to join the YTT. This weekend is the final weekend of my YTT. And though I feel I’ve learned a lot, I also feel I’ve just read the first page to great book. A book I’m so excited to read... though it truly never ends. I’ve met so many wonderful people in this one year journey. And I’m certain I will meet so many more. Friday mood 😎✌🏼 Kickin’ off the weekend with going back to blonde for no other reason thannn... brunette got boring 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ This is easily part 1/3 - hoping to achieve my final product in December/January with a shorter and lighter/icy look 😏 THOUGHT OF THE DAY IS... How I go into an instant panic when someone asks me, “Any fun plans for this weekend?!” on a Friday or “Do anything fun this weekend?!” on a Monday - because ya girls life is NOT that interesting 🙃 I seriously do not do all that much and want to become more comfortable with not making plans, and learning to release any feelings of guilt/shame I have around saying no to going “out” on Friday/Saturday nights so I can yes to staying in, relaxing and having some quiet/me time.
