We want to have arrived. In ALL areas of our lives. We don’t want the struggle and the trial and error! . We want to not have to think about our food. We get frustrated when those old demons rear their ugly heads. When we want to eat emotionally or fall into that cycle of defeat and binging again. It’s discouraging . We want the workout motivation to come easily, for the work to not feel like such a battle and a struggle. I know. I know friend . We want our curls to “look like hers” and be all that we dream, but the thing is we might not realize ALL the time and effort that have been put in. It takes time. And it’s good. And imperfect curls are AMAZING if you are learning them and embracing them . There’s a reason Paul says he fought the good fight. Don’t back down from the fight in all areas of your life.
