A couple of fun #transformationtuesday photos. @the_green_haired_hippie recently had a squat milestone (you are a #badass girl!!! - go follow her!) and it made me think. I can't squat my heaviest weight yet (289lbs), but I do have a visual representation of what 250lbs looks like. I was 250lbs on the left (a few months before I started my fitness journey) and on the right is me squatting 250lbs. The second photo is just side by side of how far I have come. It is always fun to see people's transformations. This didnt happen over night. I had lots of ups and downs. I cried a lot. I was hungry alot. I was sore alot. It sucked some days... but I knew that I couldn't quit. I had quit too many times before. I had tried every pill, diet fad, hcg diet, wraps, and more. Nothing worked until I did. Until I researched. Until I actually made changes. My biggest advice to those getting started.... DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF WALKING AND CALORIE COUNTING. I lost the first 40lbs alone doing those 2 things. . . So many people stop trying & fail at things because they lack the confidence to excel at it. Why? Because as @brendonburchard talks about in his book #HighPerformanceHabits , they lack competence in that skill. But how do you achieve competence? You practice, you keep going until you reach a level where are you now not only have competence but also confidence in that skill. Think of all the things you’re good at now. Even with natural, raw talent at something, you still didn’t just start GREAT. You had coaches, mentors, encouragers to get you where you are now. You had to practice. You had to commit time to that skill. You had to learn how to get better. If there’s something you’re wishing you were good at now, don’t stop❣️Give yourself time and patience to learn and grow in that skill or ability. Hubby: Why do I need to go through all this process? Who has that time? . Me: That's why you have me as your legal practitioner, I have the time. On the benefits of conducting a search, it helps you ascertain whose land you are about purchasing, it will enable you know if there is an encumbrance on the land, such as a mortgage. Or if the land is in dispute or an object of litigation. Where no issues exist It gives you peace of mind that you are making a good purchase. . Hubby: So how do one go about the search. . . Me: We will request for a photocopy of the titled deed or a survey plan. In the event we do not have any of the above, we will get a surveyor to pick the coordinates and do the needful. .
