Because grocery pickup didn’t happen until yesterday, my Sunday prep had to be a combo of anything and everything I could scrounge up. Simple and effective. 🙌 . Chicken breast tenderloins are always on my grocery list as they cook quickly and are always tender even when reheating, and grains such as brown rice and quinoa are always in my cabinet for days like this. And luckily I still had fresh Brussels sprouts to cook... add a little olive oil and bacon bits and they are delish! Then there’s the catch all salad. A little of this, a little of that, and 💥. And can’t forget the snacks. Usually it’s a fruit and veggie mid-morning, but I had no fresh fruit, so I had cottage cheese with some fresh mango jam mixed in. In telling you this, I just want to reiterate that you can make it work. Prep doesn’t have to be hard! Need help? Meal preppin reality! so turns out im not one of those lucky women who BF and loses weight..I have noticed that I actually put it on! and what you don't get told is the science behind it but basically the hormone that produces milk in some womens bodys 💁🏼‍♀️ refuses to metabolise ANY fat to use to make milk so I HAVE to watch what I eat, calorie count and stay super hydrated every second of every day! . . . eating perfectly is tough on a normal day but when you have a 4 yr old and feeding a 7 week old around the clock you become starving constantly! I have looked at meal prep services and at the price they are asking for I couldn't financially justify spending that much...so my sis @yosra.attia came to the rescue and suggested I meal prep salads and make bulk dressing and stock up on healthy options to go with it. So thanks to @asda delivery this morning I got my food and I am ready to control of my bodys madness 💪 bubye BF cookies! . .
