progress = time & effort. been focusing on changing up my hair routine to learn how to properly maintain curly hair and it’s one of the most challenging things i’ve done in terms of self care. i’ve always been a relatively low maintenance lady but #curlygirlmethod is anything but. i think the time and effort i’m putting in now will be worth it tho; the same way time and effort last year gave me the body i actually wanted. now if only i could learn how to be patient everyday 🤨

Atualmente o que se sabe a respeito da acne é que ela surge devido a alterações hormonais, mas o fator genético tem influência assim como o ambiental. Os principais influenciadores deste processo são a hiperprodução de sebo glandular, hiperqueratinização folicular, colonização bacteriana folicular e liberação de mediadores inflamatórios no folículo. A produção de sebo que leva ao surgimento da acne pode ser estimulada pelo consumo excessivo de alimentos com alto índice glicêmico, além de leites e derivados. Sendo assim, o mais indicado é que se evite o consumo de chocolates devido ao excesso de açúcar e gorduras, leite e seus derivados, frituras de qualquer tipo, carnes ricas em gordura e refrigerantes. A dieta deve ser rica em alimentos fonte de vitamina A (amarelos, alaranjados), vitamina C (laranja, goiaba, mamão), vitamina E (castanha do Pará e amêndoas), ômega 3 pois, pode reduzir mediadores inflamatórios, alimentos ricos em zinco como as carnes vermelhas e ovos, alimentos ricos em selênio, contido nos alimentos integrais e oleaginosas. Obs.: Os chocolates com maiores % de cacau podem ser consumidos desde que com moderação.
