Let’s talk about Food!⁣ 🥦🥬🥒 ⁣ There’s something so special about it to me. Wether it’s the fruits that go into the smoothies I make for my family, the veggies I use to make a hot meal, or the fact that each food ingredient I choose has it’s own unique nutritional value to it. ⁣ ⁣ It’s amazing! ⁣ Once I decided to go plant-based food became more than just picking out a packet of oatmeal or a bowl of cereal for breakfast. It sets the tone for my days & plays a big part on how my days go. The food we put into our bodies doesn’t just keep us full, they can give us life and affect our mind, body, and soul. ⁣ ⁣ I admit..⁣ I started out not knowing one thing about food & nutrition and the education still continues. ⁣ It took the past 4 1/2 to almost 5 years to learn how to get to here. It took a lot of cooking the not so healthiest meals to the purchasing of the not so healthiest products to get to where I’m at now. It didn’t happen overnight & being plant-based was never about being perfect, to me it’s about making the best decision you can when you can & showing yourself & YOUR BODY love because our bodies are amazing and they do so much for us. ⁣ ⁣ So tell me..⁣ What’s one nutritional food ingredient that you want to start incorporating in your life today & why?

A non-food post for the soul 😌⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I love supporting local businesses, shopping at farmers markets and going to hot yoga. Happy friday finalllllly the weekend!! Wishing I was having these little guys for dessert but instead I’m trying to recover from my cold and taking all the vitamin C 🙃 made these randomly when I had left over berries from my blueberry pork chop and I have to say this is absolutely delish! One of my best creations if I do say so myself! 🤩 • #dEATs blueberry cups 🔥Cookie: 2 3/4 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup butter (softened) 1 1/4 cups sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla Roll into balls and place in mini muffin tins bake at 375 for ~10 minutes. Once out press down to make an indent I used a baller to get a nice groove. 🔥Filling: 1 cup of blueberries lemon juice Lemon zest Splash of rice wine vinegar 1 cup of water Cook down until jam like.
