In today's lab session we took blood lactate thresholds. This test measured the athlete's blood lactate during each stage of the experiment. For the test, we used a treadmill and made @bwatkiss96 run for 4 minutes per stage. We also used a breathalyser to measure the amount of CO2 and O2 when breathed in and out, this can help us to measure the athletes VO2 max. At the end of each stage, we took a blood sample and used a machine to give us the blood lactate.
