My thought of today.......🦋 Relationships continue long after that person has fallen asleep..... Today is the birthday of a very, very special lady, and an Angel, whose heart was full of love for everyone she met, while she was on this earth. She was incredibly giving, ❤️ stunningly beautiful, and she would always use “there was a queue at the Post Office” as an excuse for her lateness all of the time!! 😂 and it got me thinking......🦋 In my practice I support many clients who are going through bereavement. My advice to them is just because this person no longer walks this earth with us, it doesn’t mean that the relationship we had with them is over. This relationship stays with us as we transform and grow. It’s totally natural to want to celebrate and remember their life, particularly on birthdays and anniversaries. 🦋 Some clients have had parties on their loved ones birthday, celebrating with cake and balloons, some have gone out to restaurants, some giving money to charity. Some just quietly reflecting.It doesn’t matter what you do, there are no rules...... You will have moments of sadness and grief, on this day but also moments of laughter in remembering your loved one.Set aside time to reflect......as I have done today, I will be having a glass of bubbles later to wish this Angel, a very happy birthday 🥂 and I may even run late today in my timekeeping! 😂🦋 #theonlylifestyletransformer #wisdom #bereavementcounsellor #grief #reflection #growth #love #memories #realtionship #support #connection

This is a difficult question that I think we have to ask. And it takes courage to answer it honestly. Do I feel like I'm enough just as I am? Or do I believe that I'll only be enough once I change? Are my actions driven by love or fear? . Make a choice, that even as you work to improve yourself and your life, you will appreciate everything that you have right now. You will be kind to your body. You will pamper it, be tender with it and thank it for all the things it does for you. Because that body is the one constantly putting in the work. It's the miraculous thing that gets you from point A to point B and gives you a multitude of sensory experiences. Why does it deserve to be criticized? It exists only for you. It's the only body you'll ever have and it deserves your compassion. . I know what it's like to feel ashamed and unworthy, and yes, I've acted on fear plenty of times. I'm starting to see that any action taken in fear just drives you back to your demons and makes it imposible to sustain your progress. So choose love. Make it a true priority to heal your thoughts and emotions. That healing is more integral to your goals than anything else. . Feel free to disagree.. I like a good argument 😘.
