First time doing the trap bar deadlifts for 3 months and I hit a PR!! 4 easy reps of 235! Do you do these? They are a great way to target quads while doing deadlifts and will give you a thick back as well. Deadlifts are one of my favorite exercises because they work so many muscles. Weight check in! Clear of the 220s and working my way down to the 210s. Just over 33lbs lost. Also included how my weight has fluctuated since I first tracked it over eight years ago. Looking at it was pretty interesting because a lot of it I can remember my state of mind and how I felt. Obviously food was a huge coping mechanism. Maybe I'll talk a bit more about that in the future.

"I guess they were right, consistency is key!" The difference was showing up everyday even when I didn't see results right away. I felt better, stronger, and happier. I have a very stressful job and it would affect my mood at work and outside of work. When I leave the gym in the evening everything that happen that day is forgotten. It's made me a happier and in turn healthier. On average I'm a 4 day a week-er, I strive for 5 days a week. I used to laugh when people would say they're addicted to working out, and I still do. But, it's become a lot harder for me to skip a day at the gym then just go. My recommendation for someone just starting is to just start, keep going even if you don't see or feel anything right away, it's 30 minutes a day, everyone can find 30 minutes in their day to set aside for themselves.
