Say WHAT? A pre-workout?!?! Let me explain... The older I get, the better my warmups need to be, and I easily spend 15-20 minutes on my warmups alone. I like to start with some dynamic mobility moves and build up intensity little by little, and that’s where this kind of Bosu circuit fits in. It gets my heart rate up and preps my core and other muscles for heavier lifts, if that’s what I’m planning to do. Plus, if I’m having trouble motivating myself, a fun circuit like this really gets me going! - If a a more cardio/core focused workout is what you’re after, you could just keep repeating this circuit a few more times. - No Bosu ball? Just use a small step, or even do these on the floor. - 🧭 30-40 sec work / 10-15 sec rest. Just 2 rounds as a pre-workout circuit. Or repeat for 3-5 rounds on its own for a more cardio/core focused workout. - 1️⃣ Surrender to hop. 2️⃣ Plank to bear. 3️⃣ Lateral toe taps (stay low). 4️⃣ V-sit toe taps (Bend knees to table top to make it a bit easier) 5️⃣ Plank donkey kick with ball squeeze (Pilates ball, or a kids rubber ball will work) - 🎶 Axero - Here. . “I’ll just restart on Monday.” How many times have you said that to yourself?? I know I’ve said that hundreds of times. But there is nothing special about Monday. I missed my scheduled workout on Friday because of a crazy weekend with the kids, but I got up early this morning to do it. It doesn’t matter that it’s Sunday. It just matters that I did it, I got it done, no excuses. Now I can go into next week with a positive mindset. Week 1 of LIIFT4 finally done!😜😜😜

Nothing will change for you if you don’t feel like you deserve it. Negative self talk can be detrimental to your goals. As hard as it is, you have to speak to yourself in a positive way. Talk yourself up, tell yourself that you got this. Make it a habit to start the day by naming your good points, listing your goals and telling yourself that you will slay the day. Sounds simple, but it’s SO effective. So in case you didn’t tell yourself this today, YOU GOT THIS!!
