Is it me or does it feel slightly Autumnal today? There’s a chill to the air, and I’m going with it as i love the veg available at this time of year!Breakfast was some cavalo Nero, wild mushrooms and a poached egg sprinkled with the most amazing paprika! This was a gift from my daughters friend’s mum. 🤗 They went to Turkey for their holidays and she brought back some of her family’s homemade paprika and tomato purée. I’ve tasted nothing like it before! So good 😊 mushrooms are a great immune support and it’s this time of year when the temperature changes that we might need a little boost. I have a couple of places left for anyone interested in working with me from September. I'm going to get great mileage out of the new photos (thanks @robbiemac66 😂). So apologies in advance. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm delighted I can see my shoulder in this one. They've been hiding under fat for so long. 😂😂😂😉 . This month last year I walked 100 miles /160km for St.Vincents Foundation for the Cancer ward. I was just over the 18 stone so it was no joke clocking up those sort of miles. I hadn't started in the gym. I still hadn't sorted my calorie intake out by then so despite all that walking I didn't lose any weight because I was still  eating far too many calories. . If you are trying to lose fat don't kid yourself into training hard for an hour in the gym  then eating in a surplus. It doesn't work like that. . Having a good training programme and keeping your #neatup247 will of course help, but the most important factor for fat loss is a calorie deficit. This doesn't mean starve yourselves either.  A sensible deficit of between 10 and 20% is usually enough to warrant consistent fat loss within a diet that you can sustain for a longer period of time. . So instead of going balls deep and starving yourself just eat sensibly, watch your calories, eat plenty of protein based foods to keep you fuller for longer and to help build and repair muscles. Move around more. Get good sleep. Drink water. Many of you will be starting again today.. "famous Monday" so instead of doing crazy shit for 2 or 3 days why not try some more sensible changes but see them through the whole week and I bet you will feel better for doing it that way. .
