Perfect CityCar short and manoeuvrable but 🛍🧳 you can keep on your lap anyway😉 After shopping, you can also win some World Rally Championships like in 1974, 1975 and 1976😎 The design was the result of much thought, the difference between the Stratos and a then contemporary mid-engined cars was that the Lancia has an unbelievably short wheelbase only 85 inches, less than 2.2m. This allows the Stratos to change direction very quickly, obviously important for successful rallying. It is also an extremely small car, about 146in or 3.7m long. The Torinese engineers had also paid a great deal of attention to the new car's suitability for quick progress in the mountains, a fact borne out by the low weight of less than 1,918 lb., 869 kg made possible by the use of plastics. The engine was straight from the Dino Ferrari 246 GT, the 2.4-litre V6 with four overhead camshafts, and a maximum power-output of 195 bhp 145 kW, 7,600 rpm. 🔵 #TheBerbant 📷: @thomaslariviere_ 📢 #BackRealCars ✊ Follow for more: @CarTheBerbant #Lancia #Stratos

Aston Martin DB5 (1963-1965) With the screening of the 1964’s Bond movie called ‘Goldfinger’, saw the introduction of the now iconic Aston Martin DB5 to millions of movie fans the world over. This signalled the start of a relationship between James Bond and Aston Martin cars which spans eleven bond movies and over 50 years of cinema history. In 1963, the iconic Aston Martin DB5 arrived, now famous for being the most recognised cinematic James Bond car. Its first appearance came in the 1964 James Bond film ‘Goldfinger’. The DB5 came with a new enlarged 4.0lt all-aluminium engine, featuring three SU carburettors, which gave the Aston DB5 an extra 42hp advantage over the old DB4 model, taking the DB5 from 0-60mph in 8.0 secs and onto a 145mph top speed. A new robust ZF five-speed transmission was used to harness the 282hp power output that was now on tap and bring some much needed refinement to the luxury GT cruiser. In most departments, it really was an uprated DB4, but it came with a bigger-capacity engine and better brakes, the faired-in headlamps that had appeared on the DB4GT and a longer tail that improved the looks. . 📷 @thegentsjournal . . #somedayclassics #astonmartin #db5 #jamesbond007 #007 #DriveVintage
