WOW! Congratulations to Tiger - and all the golf world. . The first Masters Tournament I ever watched was the 2005 edition with the Famous Chip-In. . That was in April, I got my first set of golf clubs in May. . Tiger changed the golfing world like no other before him. That year started my journey and love for the game. . 3 point row - it's a great fitness, rehab, and performance exercise that I see very commonly performed oncorrectly. . . Most often when I see others doing this exercise they don't set the shoulder blade leading to hyper extension of the shoulder joint. This can lead to very uncomfortable compression of the biceps tendon in the front. . . Additionally notice have my head stays in line with my trunk, that indicated maintaining posture (a benefit of rowing) while selecting a weight that I don't require assistance from muscles not being targeted.

There it is, ⏰⏰ 3 am. . . I had a choice to make. Get my workout in after work and miss out an hour or more with my little boys. OR get up earlier and do it while they were sleeping. . . 😴😴 early AM wins. You see I've been neglecting my fitness over the last 2+ years. Its amazing what wanting to be with your little one will do to your resolve to be healthy. . . Now its bitten me in the butt 🐍. Its hard to keep up with an almost 3 year old's endless energy. . . So I'm choosing to give up a couple hours in the morning to be able to make the most of the time in the evening. . . WHAT'S YOUR WHY TO MAKE THE EFFORT, THE SACRIFICE?

🤯🤯I once heard "If something is important to you, do it every day."🤯🤯 It's easy to get caught in the hustle and bustle of life. I get it, it happens to me, too. But usually there is something that causes us to come back around. The most important things in my life are my wife and our two little boys. In order to be the best husband and father to them, I need to take care of myself. 🏌️‍♂️is my outlet. A passion I found in college, it helped create some of the relationships that have propelled me in my career. But its a game that requires consistency, resilience, and problem solving - much like fatherhood and marriage. 🏋️‍♂️ is what I do. As a physical therapist we depend on the human body to adapt, flex, and mold in order to get clients to the goals they have for their body and their life. It is easy to lose focus on the things that are most important and dear. The things that make all the 🐂💩 worth it. Re-focusing on those things daily, giving them the attention they deserve, allows you to get better what is most important. Want to be a better parent - be a present parent daily. Want to be a better spouse - be there for your partner, daily. Want to have a better squat - practice squatting daily. Want to have a lower golf handicap - drink more 🍺 ... I mean practice your shot game. Whatever it is that is important to you, make it a priority.
