Startled awake this morning with a song blaring in my head (even though I still had 30 more min to sleep 🙄).⁣ ⁣ It was the theme song to “Growing Pains,” and although I used to think It was a cheesy love song when I was a kid, listening to the words today made a lot of sense to me. ⁣ ⁣ I’m so thankful to have been married to this world-changer for almost 13 years now. The part of the song that says “as long as we keep on giving, we can take anything that comes our way” has been a paramount truth in our relationship. The times where we’ve become selfish have been the hardest parts of our relationship.
