La Parada de manos requiere de compromiso... las handstands últimamente se volvieron un elemento buscado y deseado por cada vez más personas. Balancearse sobre tus manos. El mundo al revés, “que linda sensación”, “cuánta conciencia corporal”! Cuánta “fuerza “! Lo cierto es que no es fácil. Sin embargo, cualquiera que ansía tener una vertical, empieza contra un árbol, parándose con las manos, cayéndose sin encontrar el balance, una y otra vez. Claro, como los niños. Pero nos olvidamos que los niños tienen un cuerpo completamente disponible, fuerte y acorde a su tamaño, mientras que nosotros hemos sido encerrados en aulas, con la cola en la silla durante nuestra mayor parte, y muchos otros singuen así, en oficinas, atrofiando el cuerpo y articulaciones. Obvio, cómo no van a doler la muñecas después de unos saltos a vertical? En este momento, el pararse de manos se ha vuelto algo sumamente lesivo, si no se practica ni se entrena correctamente. Primero, formar la BASE de fuerza muscular y articular, tanto como la movilidad, luego, agregar si se quiere y puede más volumen. Pero saltar y saltar como un desquiciado a la vertical es una receta para futuras lesiones de desgaste. La vertical es algo para tratar con cuidado, con inteligencia, y paciencia.
