Rest-Pause Training! Featured exercise; Banded Leg Ext Today’s second exercise. Two working sets and one back off set total. Using a rest-pause technique to really make sure I get everything out of the set I can. Complete 10/12 reps as you would a normal set, rest for 10 seconds and then go again, don’t change the weight. The body can recover quickly and you’ll probably get another 5/6 res out. A great technique to utilise when training low volume. Who knew that lifting heavy and eating food would have you looking bigger than ever even though you aren't your heaviest 🤔 Shifting weight is proving a REALLY fun process right now - minimal "bro" lifting and all the compounds with variations. Squat singles of 167.5kg today (more than I managed in my last comp) and some close grip bench 6s of 77.5kg to boot. #TransformationTuesday Post 🚨🚨🚨 . . . Quick update on my bulk cycle. As some of you know after losing 90 lbs, I was ready to stop cutting (losing fat) and decided to dedicate about 4.5 months to bulking and adding muscle. I went from about 200 lbs on the left picture to about 220 lbs on the right picture where I am currently sitting. I am super excited about the progress I’ve been able to make during this time, but I’m ready to shed some fluff and get after the cut! 👊🏻 . . .
