Been enjoying underhand grip, chest supported t-bar rows lately! What's your kryptonite? Where do you struggle in the gym? For me it's the bench. I used to avoid it like the plague and would just use free weights to get chest day done. Mostly I did that because I was always worried what others would think or the embrassment of not being able to push a lot of weight. But despite hating it, and fearing what others think, I started to focus on why I'm there. Today I go in and remind myself I'm there for me and working at getting stronger for me. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks because at the end of the day we are all at different stages in our journey to a better, healthier, stronger self. I may not be able to push a lot of weight on it YET, but despite hating it, I still get it done! 💪😉 #justapartoftheprocess #keepmovingforward #youbeyou #benchpress

Da det ikke ble NM i år på meg, så slo vi heller til med et koselig, artig og trivelig klubbstevne😍 Noen nye PR ble det jammen også i knebøy og markløft🙌😃 Benkpress gikk heller skeis, prøvde meg på 67.5 kg, men den gikk ikke.😬 Så sier meg fornøyd med forrige stevnes PR på 65 kg foreløpig. 😊 Prøvde meg også på 135 kg i mark på siste løftet, men den ble for tung. Men er kjempefornøyd med ny PR på 110 i knebøy og 130 i markløft. Wednesday night heaves in the base gym. #deadlifts 4x2 @177.5kgs which felt ok, just trying to get my lower back to engage. Then #benchpress and built up to a 1RM - last warm up single at 117.5kgs then got a #pb with 125kgs. Went for 127.5kgs but ran out of steam. Still, quite pleased with that as it’s a decent improvement. Thanks again to @reesy0210 for the great programming and advice. Make like you’re about to poop. But then don’t poop. That’s how my coach taught me:) @Regrann from @nattyknowledge - Breathing technique is something that may seem trivial, but it is an advanced technique that can make a huge difference. - There are a couple of breathing techniques that can be used, but for low rep, heavy weight lifting, I would recommend this breathing technique. - Take a deep breath before your rep, and hold it in your belly during your rep then let it out at the end or around the end of your rep. - This creates pressure, making you stronger and safer during your lift. - Another mistake I see when people breath is that they breathe up instead of down. Fill your belly not your chest.
