BARBELL ROWS, 12 reps per set🔥 There's a reason why this is the most difficult back workout and it's a real doozie to the back if done right and well... AND HOLY MOLY THIS WAS A TIGHT ONE. TRAINING Doing assisted pull ups, push ups and many back exercises to gain more muscle and endurance. I want to be stronger overall and have been loving the process. 👌 . 🔥 OBLITERATE YOUR BACK MUSCLES 🔥 - 📍 The back is made up of variety of muscles. In order to train properly each muscle, you are going to have to work in different planes of movements targeting different functions. For example: a) Latissimus dorsi muscle (LATS) function include primarily shoulder adduction and extension. That's why you would focus on vertical pulling movements like pull ups, lats pull down, etc. b) The Mid Back/ Upper back refers to the traps, rhomboids, anterior posterior deltoids (although they are shoulder muscles). That's why you would want to focus on movements that allows scapular retraction. *Think pinching a grape between your shoulder blades*. Movements including horizontal abduction like Barbelll Rows flaring the elbows, V-Grip pulldowns would likely activate mid / upper back more. c) The Lower Back mainly refers to the spinal extensors. These are trained when you lift your back like in a Deadlift and its variants. - 📍 Include variety of exercises in your back workout.
