Lunch is ready! Three cheese & spinach cannelloni for Fred and a new smock too, as he has almost grown out of his size 0 smocks, right on cue for his first birthday! Taking some inspiration from @tailadanae I have tried to style things up...hope you like it 😉 Three Cheese & Spinach Cannelloni ❇️1 tub ricotta cheese ❇️1 bunch spinach steamed, drained of excess water and chopped ❇️1/2 cup grated tasty cheese ❇️1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese ❇️1 egg ❇️1 clove garlic minced ❇️sprinkle of nutmeg ❇️salt and pepper to taste ❇️1 box cannelloni tubes ❇️1 jar tomato passata ❇️ extra grated cheese for the top Method Place all ingredients in a bowl except the cannelloni tubes, passata and extra cheese. Mix ingredients and then fill cannelloni tubes with mixture. Place filled tubes in a baking dish top with passata and extra cheese bake in the oven until pasta is cooked through, around 30 minutes. This is delicious straight out of the oven, warmed up the next day or also freezes really well. Enjoy!

So I've made this mushroom stroganoff now three times and my baby loves it! She actually shovels it into her face. This time I used this red lentil pasta (the only ingredient is red lentil flour). The recipe is by @eatingbirdfood and it's delicious and SO easy to make! 😊🌱

Dinner tonight was so simple and quick. Pumpkin gnocchi roasted in the oven with crushed garlic, all the veg I had in the fridge and some olive oil for 20 mins at 450°f. I topped it with left over chicken which I shredded and heated in a marinara sauce. Edward loved it! Charlie had the veg and chicken but not the gnocchi as it has egg in. He had left over mash potato instead which was nice and messy.

My cookie cutters are mostly from @house.online . Using different words for food will keep toddlers excited. Blueberries (balls), Cheese (Space Rocks) so ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⭐️ Keep it simple. This takes two seconds to prepare and it’s not reinventing the wheel. Your smalls learn what food tastes and looks like when served like this. I tend to do a tasting plate for one meal a day and one mix dish say spaghetti + sauce or curry or something for dinner. You could do tasting plates every meal I just like to change. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⭐️Keeping it simple and covering food groups is much easier to maintain with a busy schedule over complicating meals is not necessary. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👍🏼8mont + . If starting BLW for the first time Lunch time is a good time to start as they are rested and mostly likely you will have more time to prepare and eat during the day rather than night time rush for bed. Make sure you cut the food to the correct serving size for the age of your small. Chese cut in pinkie finger cuts ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✍🏼 dairy, grains, protein, fruits covered. BLW Day 7: Charlie loved his dinner! Black bean burger, avocado and sweet potato fries. I chopped the fries using a wavy cutter and this really helped him to pick them up. The 2nd video shows him gagging - he worked it out and carried on eating! The black bean burger recipe was yummy and great to adapt for allergies. I took Charlie’s portion out before I added the egg and cheese.

All day today I SLAVED away to make whole milk yogurt for my babies! 😂😂😂 AKA I made cold start yogurt in the instant pot. But it came out perfect! I used whole milk fairlife milk, chobani plain Greek for the starter, and 1 tbsp of @traderjoes alcohol free pure vanilla extract. That’s it! It came out delicious too! Even better, there is no added sugars for my little ones 😍 Fun fact: when I was pregnant I bought a second #instantpot so I can use one to cook while I make yogurt 😂 This is 10000000% an house! I haven’t used my crock pot since 🙊 I used the @kiinde foodii system to bag everything! This was perfect because I can freeze the bags I’m not using to make the product last longer! Bienvenido al mundo mágico de las comidas, #MiniSmuleveats! 🍽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Como soy fan de la nutrición, planee (y desee) muchooo este momento!... y no por obse, sino porque es un tema que me encanta! 🍎 Empezamos con un mix de #BLW (en su mayoría) y el método tradicional de darle la comida en cuchara. El #BLW o #BabyLedWeaning se basa en introducir la alimentación complementaria sin pasar por la etapa de las papillas, sino directamente a través de alimentos sólidos que cumplan con ciertos “requisitos” (los compartiré más adelante o pueden Googlearlos 😜). Además, es el propio bebé el que se alimenta, usando ya sea sus manos o una cuchara. Entre otras cosas, este método permite que los bebés descubran al 100% los colores, texturas y olores de los alimentos, les permite desarrollar muchísimo su motricidad y coordinación, fomenta su independencia y permite que toda la familia coma al mismo tiempo! Durante el primer año de vida, la fuente más importante de alimentación es la leche (ya sea materna o fórmula), y es por eso que en estos meses lo más importante es permitirles descubrir, jugar, divertirse y construir una relación positiva con la comida. Si bien me encanta el #BLW, también entiendo que hay situaciones en las que necesitas recurrir al método tradicional y darle vos la comida con una cuchara, ya sea porque no tienes tiempo, estás en un restaurant, etc. Muchas amigas me dijeron que si se acostumbran a comer únicamente solos, después es difícil lograr que coman de la cuchara (a no ser que ellos sean quienes agarran la cuchara). Of course Rhys went for the cookie first thing 😅. I wanted to give him a little treat for doing so well at his appointment today. Turns out he has so much fluid in his ears that he'll need tubes to help them drain. It's also affecting how well he can hear so it will definitely be worth getting done. I am a bit nervous for the whole surgery but I think he'll do fine. No eating 8 hours prior which will probably be the toughest thing for him! This is kind of a mess because my life is kind of a mess, but it’s corn salad a la Sam, avocado and tomato, and shrimp seasoned with chilli powder and topped with cilantro avocado yogurt dressing. He liked it but he ate the corn salad last. ALSO I want to highlight Sam’s fork — it was my fork when I was a kid! My dad found it and gave it to me. There’s also a knife with a puppy on it but I think it’s lost. La lavan , luego la ponen en agua hirviendo entre 15 y 20 min. - 🔸1 ajo. - 🔸1/2 cebolla picada. - 🔸1/2 taza de avena molida o avena en hojuelas. - 🔸Sal (12m+). - 🔸Aceite de oliva. - PREPARACIÓN:. - 🔹Pon a dorar la cebolla y el ajo en un poquito de aceite de oliva. - 🔹 Ya cuando tengan la quinoa cocinada la ponen en un procesador o licuadora con la cebolla el ajo , la avena y si es mayor de 12 meses una pizca de sal. - 🔹En caso tal de que les quede muy blandita le pueden adicionar más avena o huevo opcional . - 🔹Ya con la contextura adecuada pueden armar sus hamburguesas y dejar unas en el congelador . I have mixed feelings about them, since I was the lucky winner of a toddler who squeezed them out all over the place. Just last week, I took little m to the store with me.
