My fave lunch at the moment: alpro soy yogurt, a ripe banana, 2 trek protein bars chopped up, and hidden underneath is a table spoon of chia seeds. Yum! Going to start adding some fresh blueberries into the mix too. So quick, healthy and high in protein 😃

Two months ago I started posting about an Esther Hicks track called "everything is always working out for me" on YouTube. Since the day I started posting about it, my life has completely changed. A little over two months ago I was miserable, constantly exhausted, unhealthy, demotivated, felt like the world was against me. This track made me change my mindset and the knock on effect has been incredible. I got the job I wanted and I love it. I moved to London. I found a flat in Camden with an new flat mate who is an awesome girl. I made new friends. Opportunities threw themselves at me. I am the happiest I have probably ever been. I am truly living a life where everything is always working out for me, and I seriously believe as long as I continue believing that, everything will continue to do so. I took a little break from Instagram to focus on the move and the new position, and now I've settled in a bit more feel like I can dedicate my time to this again, and hopefully churn some more blogs out soon. Big love! 💚

Really garlicky tomato herby spaghetti with nutritional yeast and some miso on top. Treated myself to a bit of olive oil on it! Generally try to avoid adding oil to my food but sometimes it's such a yummy addition. 🙌🏼💚

I had an epic meal at @veganhippo in Soho, London, on Wednesday evening. 🍔Pulled jackfruit burger with cheeze, kale crisps and a soy latte on the side. The burger was unreal, so much flavour and the texture of the pulled jackfruit was on point! 👌🏼 The staff were friendly and there was an eclectic selection of music playing (Simon & Garfunkel / an entire Robbie Williams album). Plus, the entire meal came in at under a tenner! What's not to like? Vegans of London, non-vegans of London, and all visitors to London (vegan or not) go give this place a try. Cheap, cheerful and delicious! 🙌🏼😻

Taking good care of yourself is the most important thing you can do. Eat well, exercise, practice mindfulness to reduce stress, repeat affirmations to yourself everyday, sleep enough every night and socialise whenever possible. And not to forget, pamper and treat yourself sometimes too! You'll find yourself much happier and more productive in all areas of your life. 💚

🚨Midnight snack alert!🚨 I got peckish last night as I was up a little late and threw this together as a high protein, filling little snack. I call it "pizza ballz" 😍🍕🍅🧀 V-bites meatless balls topped with low fat marinara sauce, Sainsbury's cheddar style cheeze and a sprinkling of dried oregano and basil. It tastes like a meatball pizza! Just without the carby base! 356 kcal and 21g of protein. I needed that after the day I had, lots and lots of walking! 👣 What's your go to midnight snack? 👇🏼

Many of us experience depression. 🌑Sometimes it's based on circumstance, sometimes we're not entirely sure of the cause. Regardless, when you are in that state, there is a sense of hopelessness and the feeling that there's no way out. Meditation. ✨ Meditation is a practice that I've always found difficult. My brain goes at 100 miles per hour and I have a pretty short attention span, but the benefits of it are undoubtable. Of late I've been doing breathing exercises using my Fitbit which last about 5 minutes, and using this as meditation practice. On every breath in I envisage gold energy flowing into me; pure light, perfection, happiness, untainted and free. And with every breath out I envisage a black gust of energy flowing out of me; releasing any negativity, tension, anxiety and unhappiness. It's a really wonderful way to relax and reset your mind if you're feeling a little stressed, and it's a great way to get ready to go to sleep at night too. 🌙⭐️

Good food and good rest are so so so important to physical and mental wellbeing. 🍴😴 Take steps to ensure that you're sleeping enough. When I can, I turn my phone to airplane mode at 9-10pm, put it on charge on my desk and then get into bed and wind down with my book or an easy-watching TV show like Friends, or do a breathing exercise with my Fitbit. I also take a magnesium supplement before I sleep and have really noticed that I sleep much deeper since I started that! Food; it's a no brainer. Keep it colourful, keep it ethical, keep it fruits and veggies and nuts and seeds and leaves and grains and roots, and make sure that you ENJOY it! Make it flavourful and delicious with herbs and spices and garlic. You'll feel better than you ever even thought you could! 🍏🌶🍎🥔🍐🍠🍊🌰🍋🥜🍌🍅🍉🍆🍇 I'm hungry now! Time to get up for breakfast after a blissful 8 hours. I'm going to have a smoothie this morning, what's your breakfast going to be? 👇🏼

Yum! 🥗🍴 One of my lunches from a couple of weeks ago. Mushrooms 🍄 stuffed with vegan chorizo, garlic and free from cheddar. 🧀Served with a salad of spinach, 🍃 butter beans, cherry tomatoes, 🍅 chopped chorizo and balsamic reduction. A wedge of lemon 🍋 to squeeze over for good measure! I made the vegan chorizo from scratch and the taste was INCREDIBLE! The texture needs tweaking slightly but I'm confident I'll get it perfect real soon 😏 a far healthier alternative to regular chorizo which is laden with fat. What are you having for lunch today? 👇🏼

I realised how important this is far too well recently.. When I moved back from Thailand I had one goal: career, career, career. 🤓 In my head I told myself "until your career is on track, nothing else can be a priority." All of my time and energy would be invested into my career until I was where I wanted to be. After about a month of barely socialising and exercising no where near as much as usual, I had slumped into a pretty bad place. I wasn't happy, and this negative mental attitude had a ripple effect on the work I was doing for my career. I was lethargic and demotivated, and something needed to change! ‼️ I began to prioritise my friends, hobbies and interests more, and started having way more FUN! 😃 Since then my attitude has changed completely. I feel full of positivity and the universe keeps presenting me with opportunities; I'm getting extremely close to that career goal! Who knows where I would be now had I not decided that having fun was a priority for me. ✨ What are you doing to do to have more fun today? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

Wowowow! 😍🍫🍰🍓🍨 My birthday dessert from the fabulous @thewarehousecafe in Digbeth last week. A monster chocolate brownie topped with dairy-free vanilla ice cream and berry compote. Safe to say I was thoroughly stuffed after this bad boy! 🤰🏼 My week of birthday indulgence is now over however, and it's time for a health kick! Accept yourself and everyone else around you. ✨ This one sounds so simple, but it's easier said than done. If I said I had achieved doing this, I would be kidding myself and all of you! 🙈 But I'm certainly a long road ahead of where I was even just 6 months ago. 👣 Saying affirmations to myself have helped me further accept myself, and that is really something you have to commit to and stick with. 💚 When it comes to accepting others, there are a couple of things to remember. Firstly, every second you waste trying to change someone else, you could be spending on self growth and acceptance - your time is precious; don't waste it! ⏰ And secondly, try to have a deep understanding of why people are the way that they are. Try to have an awareness of the components of their life they may have shaped aspects of them negatively. Be compassionate and understanding, and accept them with all of their flaws. ✨ Tag a friend who you accept wholly and completely! 👇🏼
