When working towards a certain goal, you have to go through a lot of trial and error. Heck, I've been doing this for 4 years now and still haven't found something that works 100% in my favour. . In saying that, I'm deciding to step outside my comfort zone when it comes to eating ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ Eating in a paleo style has done me wonders in terms of leaning down and shedding off layers of un wanted fat, and I genuinely enjoyed the food that I was able to eat! but in saying that, it has also decreased my muscle mass (which is no what I want) and I am ALWAYS FRIGGEN HUNGRY. I also workout and train for performance purposes! Surprise surprise... working out isn't all about 'body image'. I want to be able to lift heavy, jump high, run fast and do crazy cool ninja type of stuff in and outside of the gym, and eating in a paleo form just kept decreasing my energy and ability to train to the best of my ability. . Food is fuel, and in order to build up more and fuel myself to train to my fullest potential, I've decided to bring clean whole grains and carbs back into my diet. My stomach isn't a fan of huge amounts of these things, so it's going to happen very slowly and I am going to implement this thing called 'CARB CYCLING' into my daily eating. I will explain what carb cycling is further into this weeks posts ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป. . Everyone's body's work differently when it comes to food. I have friends that can eat bowls upon bowls of pasta and bread, and yet still wake up with rock hard abs, where as my body isn't like that. I have a very hard time trimming last little layers of fat not matter how well I eat. So stepping out of what I'm comfortable with is a bit scary, but like I said, these things are about trial and error.. so let's see how this goes!
