Well compression tights are a whole new game I kinda felt naked 🙈 . My calves were being hugged in a way I have not experienced before I didn't even know I had any tbh seeing as I never train them !! More jab step application drills. The jab step is a "set up"; by that I mean it sets the body up to properly apply forces in the desired direction. In sports, transitioning from one direction to the next is where most athletes get injured. The change of direction increases the forces at the joints by up to 4-6x bodyweight. When you wake up seeing and feeling changes 👌🏻 physically the changes are slight, but mentally I feel my focus growing and becoming more confident. Going almost dairy-free (around 95%) and keeping my calorie intake to around 1800 during the week (no tracking on weekends) seems to have my mind and body responding well. I'm not the leanest, and am definitely far from fitness model material. 12 weeks 1 day till show time 👱🏼‍♀️ I wasn't going to post this photo. For me it's very confronting, being straight on. Being quad dominate I've always had thicker legs. I've always hated having thicker legs, until now. It's easy to compare ourselves to others and pick at the things we don't like about ourselves. What we should be doing is learning to love ourselves. I may be in prep to change my body, but for me it's more then that. It's not just physical but even more so mental for me. Learning to not care what others think and being comfortable with who I am.
