A before and current photo. I'm not where I want to be... yet, but I'm glad I'm not where I was! Left: approx. 164 lbs 😳 (Summer 2015). I seriously had no idea that I was that far gone. For one thing, I've never been a fan of scales so I'm not sure how much actually weighed. I also hate taking pictures! For this reason, I didn't notice the weight piling on! However, that number on the scale and this picture said that I needed to make a change. At the beginning of the year (2017) my husband and I felt God calling us to fast. Now, I'm not a good fast type of gal, but I did it. I stayed away from all processed foods, meat, dairy, grains. It was like going vegan on steroids! At the start of the fast, we had no idea how that fast would change our lives spiritually, emotional and physically, but it did and allowed us to press the reset button on our health! Right: 142 lbs 😊. This picture was taken a week after the fast, but before I started running/training (February 2017). My goal is to get to 130lbs by the end of the year.
